If you follow my blog and video channel at all, then you’ll know that I’m a big fan of the Nexus line of smartphones and tablets. The bloat-free, snappy interface, updates that come through quicker than any other manufacturer, and hardware that is honestly a bargain.
On the other hand, I’m a declared fan of the new HTC One M8, with its premium, high quality build, awesome speakers and quirky camera set up.
Pitting the HTC One M8 against the Nexus 5 was never going ot be a completely fair comparison – but I thought of it as an opportunity not only to see what you get in the HTC to justify the difference in price, but also how close the Nexus 5 could come in it’s own offer of hardware and software at a fraction of the price.
So here’s my thoughts on the the HTC One M8 up against the Google Nexus 5.
